From the reviews
My husband was taught by Master Lobo growing up so naturally we decided to bring our 4 year old to him as well. Our son was very shy, timid, and even scared to start with now he is excited and eager to learn. Our son comes home eager to practice, teach, and be a leader at any activity.
My daughter took Tae Kwon Do lessons from Mr. Lobo 21 years ago; when she was ten. I was impressed with her progress, but after a couple of years she decided to quit. By that time she had achieved a level where she was breaking boards with her kicks.
My family and I have been going to the Wolfpack since 2008. I've basically grown up here, and it's like an extension of my family. It's an extremely family friendly environment that teaches you both how to defend yourself and skills you can use in day to day life. I use lessons I've learned in Taekwondo almost daily.
I am so glad that our family found the Wolfpack Academy! We started at the Wolfpack in 2008 and have attended as often as possible for nearly 10 years and counting. As time went by we made friends that we respect and think of more as family.
Your first taekwondo class at Club Wolf Pack Fighting & Fitness
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
