From the reviews

My kids love this school. They are excited about increasing in rank. My son has ADHD and Taekwondo was recommended. Mrs. Chapman is great with him, she is very understanding but stern at the same time. She knows how to handle him and he listens and respects her. Great school!

I highly recommend Fort Bend Taekwondo. It offers an outstanding program that teaches more than just Taekwondo; both my children have received quality instruction. The eldest has really matured and become much more self confident, my younger child has also matured and started to show more self-control.

Our family is extremely happy with the training classes here. They grow our kids physically and spiritually. They do not only develop physical skills for the kids but also develop your kids focus, respect, self control and well being. My kids love it and therefore I love it!

Your first taekwondo class at Fort Bend Taekwondo

Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Taekwondo is a martial art and a contact sport. Ease in, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
