From the reviews
OTTaekwondo has been exactly what our family needed. My kids used to come home from school and go straight to their tablets or video games. Now, they actually look forward to training and even practice at home without being told. The structure, respect, and discipline they’ve learned here go beyond martial arts.
OTTaekwondo been a blessing for real. I signed up my kids just to get them out the house and off the tablet but it turned out way better than I expected. They not only learning how to defend theyself but they also picking up real life skills like respect and staying focused.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Put my kids in OTTaekwondo just to get them off the tablet and moving but this place turned out to be way more. They got confidence, discipline, and even their teachers say they act different in school. The coaches don’t play but they care. They push the kids hard while showing love.
We’ve been part of OTT for over 5 months now. The staff here is incredibly patient with the kids! Our son absolutely loves coming to practice. We’ve never had any issues. The coaches have a great balance in teaching skills, discipline, and respect. I have no complaints as a parent.
Your first taekwondo class at OTT Taekwondo EAST
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
