From the reviews
My kids have been going to USTTC for a few years now, for the before and after school program. I feel very comfortable leaving my kids there due to the fact that I know everyone there are true professionals and very respectful people.
My son wanted to try out Tae Kwon Do and several of his friends go here. He absolutely loves learning this form and has met lots of new friends too. The instructors are very patient and kind to all the children. I really like the center as it is clean and they always greet you when you enter. Fabulous place!
This place teach in a good format and they teach use how to be strong, focus, and show respect. Master lim is a very good leader, and helps use on our wrong doings. I recommend this place
The best place where you can take your child. It helps in structure, discipline, respect, and is fun for them. Thank you for being important in raising our son.
Your first taekwondo class at Yi Champions Taekwondo Academy
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
