Taekwondo Belt Testing
Belt testing is the milestone system at the heart of taekwondo: at set points, students test in front of their instructors (and sometimes a panel) to earn the next rank, demonstrating the kicks, forms, sparring and knowledge that belt requires. Kids often progress through poom (junior) belts, adults through the color belts toward black belt and its numbered dan degrees — and the journey, not just the destination, is the point. Testing gives training a clear shape and a real sense of earned progress. It suits anyone motivated by concrete goals.
