From the reviews
My daughter start April 2015. She is now a Yellow belt. The staff is AWESOME. Master Han is simply amazing with the kids. Not only do the kids respect Master Han, but Master Han respects the kids! You very much feel like you are part of a family.
Hans White Tiger Tae Kwon Do has taught me how do defend myself and so much more. I have learned how to be more confident with myself, and respect. All I want to do is learn how to obtain my next belt. I also am amazed by the little tigers. These kids are learning respect and to listen to their parents.
The best TKD school in the Cincinnati area, hands down. The staff is great, the students are motivated, and the lessons are intense workouts in addition to learning. My entire family takes TKD here and it has been a great and positive experience for us all as we have become more physically and mentally fit together.
Both of our sons attend classes here and they do such a great job with them. The staff manages to keep them engaged and excited every class, while teaching them valuable life lessons, and most of all RESPECT!! Instructor Cody is incredibly patient and kind. Highly recommend!!
Your first taekwondo class at Han's White Tiger Taekwondo
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
