From the reviews
Master Gorinos is so amazing in a way you cannot imagine. They have very well teaching methods and fun events. They pretty much have a party or social event for every holiday!
My daughter and I have been training here for a little over a month. I have a background in TKD with Master Gorino, but haven’t trained in decades. My daughter has a junior black belt in karate as well. We are both very impressed with the rigor and attention to detail that Master Sharratt emphasizes in classes.
As a parent, I love that the kids are always being taught meaningful life lessons while having fun and staying active. Each week, there seems to be a new focus—whether it’s being helpful, thankful, humble, or brave—and I really appreciate how these values are reinforced through movement and discipline.
We love Master Sharrat and the folks at Master Gorino's Tae Kwon-Do in Williamsville/Clarence! Master Sharrat is an amazing instructor who teaches her students not only how to be great at Tae Kwon-Do, but also how to be successful in life by instilling principles of discipline, hard work, and self-confidence.
Your first taekwondo class at Master Gorino's Tae Kwon-Do Williamsville/Clarence
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
