From the reviews

My 7yo trains here, but to him it's just fun! The instructors bring an unequaled energy, pay attention to each child, and make the classes well paced while covering the material. It has added both enthusiasm and confidence for my son. He’s now a 16yo, 2nd degree black belt!

This is a great school for kids. It is family owned and operated. They are great with the kids. They teach discipline, goals, and hard work. It is wonderful for your kids learning experience. They have fun events all year long, parent fun nights, and medal events. My son loves it and has learned so much.

★★★★★ — Cher, Jun 2023

My older son just earned his Black Belt and is continuing on for his masters. His younger brother just started with Pai's this year, and is very excited about everything he is learning. He is already demonstrating improved focus and discipline and his behavior at home has improved dramatically.

Fantastic dedicated instructors for both the adult and children's classes. Best money I've ever spent as an investment in my health and well being. If you have ever been interested in trying something like this, this is the place to go.

Your first taekwondo class at Pai's Taekwondo

Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Taekwondo is a martial art and a contact sport. Ease in, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
