From the reviews
I would recommend Master Lee's World Class Tae Kwon Do to anyone. My daughter, 6, has been going for the past few months and has developed a passion for Tae Kwon Do and wants to continue going. Not only does she still look forward to every class, but she also convinced her mom to join with her.
We love Master Lee’s World Class Taewondo. Master Lee has been tirelessly train all of his students with great dedication and passion. He’s so skillful as well. The kids really love him and look up to him and always look forward to attending his classes.
My 5 year old son started Tae Kwon Do at Master Lee’s in May and he has loved every class! Master Lee promotes a very positive, and inviting environment where each student gains a strong belief in themself. I have seen my son’s confidence, respect, and focus grow dramatically since beginning only 5 months ago.
Adult member over here! I love EVERYTHING about this place! Master Lee is funny, professional, kind, and patient. The place is beautiful and clean. I was scared the first day because I thought I wasn’t gonna fit in with the young ones but turns out there’s a good balance between adults and teens!
Your first taekwondo class at Master Lee's World Class Tae Kwon Do
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
