From the reviews
10/10 recommend Park's Taekwondo. My daughter has fun, it is a great outlet for her energy, and it is teaching her valuable skills she needs in life-like focus, respect, and perseverance. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and kind, but demand respect.
Every last instructions are THE BEST! Patience is without questions.. school is clean, the kids knows what to do when getting ready for your class.. My four year old LOVES it. My only cons would be: the price ( but at the same time it’s worth it) just remember to read all text/emails..
My child has been going here for half a year so far. Here's what has happened: -He comes home talking about the masters at the gym and how he wants to practice at home and follow all their directions and make them proud.
We came in to visit on a buddy week and my daughter fell in love with taekwondo. We were coming just to support our friend and ended up signing up. As a parent I love to watch the growth of my 4 year old in just a short amount of time. She’s beyond enthusiastic to go to class.
Your first taekwondo class at Park's TaeKwonDo Federation - Royal Palm Beach
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
