From the reviews
Highly recommended to anyone looking to learn great martial art and self defense. We have tried different studio in Tracy for my daughter over a year before Pinnacle Taekwondo, but found Master Park who is among best of the best.
Growing up, I love Taekwondo and I was beyond thrilled that I found Park's Pinnacle for my kids. Master Park (6th degree black belt, so much respect) is an amazing instructor and my son loves going to class. It is a must class to build confidence, respect, self defense and so much more.
My son has been going for a few months now and he is really enjoying it. Master Park is a great instructor. He is very friendly, personable and has good communication. He doesn't rush through what is being taught. He makes sure each student fully understands what is being taught before he moves on.
My son has been part of Park's Pinnacle Taekwondo for almost two years, and I honestly can't find the better words to express how much I appreciate Master & Mrs. Park and everything they teach. They not only teach Taekwondo lessons but also teach students.
Your first taekwondo class at Pinnacle Taekwondo
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
