Our son has been practicing at US World Class Taekwondo Tigard for the last 2 1/2 years-- over these 2 1/2 years Master Jang and Master Alicia have taught Kerson leadership, discipline, and respect in a knowledgeable, friendly atmosphere- They are very informative and highly recommended.
I started taekwondo in the 5th grade because my mom said i needed something to do. I remember being really nervous my first time doing the 2 week trial. During the trial I was sure that I wanted to continue the sport. As I continued i grew an even bigger passion.

What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call.
