The classes they run
βI have seen my child, and other children, gain not just taekwondo skills, but also leadership skills and confidence.β
βI was initially nervous starting at 22 and being an adult until I realized the adult classes are filled with people at all ages and all levels- no judgements.β
βThey provide superior, one-on-one instruction for every student, even in group classes.β
βI'm learning Korean terminology, I'm becoming stronger, more flexible, and my self-defense skills are good enough to make anyone around me feel safe lol.β
βBecause of these masters' teachings, my son is determined to continue his black belt journey.β

From the reviews
Hwangβs Tae Kwon Do Center is an amazing place for adults and kids alike. Iβm now ringing in my eighth month at the Dojang, and I can honestly say that joining was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
All the 5 star reviews are completely true and valid. If you are looking for the best masters in Beverly Hills, look no further. My son has been in this dojang since the age of 4 and received his black belt recently.
Starter after watching Shangchi and thinking to myself, βif Simu Liu can do martial arts, so can I.β During this journey, Iβve gained strength, confidence and stamina. Iβve also made a lot of friends along the way.
We used to go to another martial arts place. Out kids werr bores and unchallenged. A coworker suggested HTC. Master Jason and his team have exactly tue right temperment and balance between dicipline and fun. My kids are learning to defrend themselves and learning to be in charge of their destiny as well.
New to taekwondo? Start at Hwang's Taekwondo Center π₯
Hwang's Taekwondo Center π₯ comes up as a beginner-friendly school, going by their listing and studentsβ reviews. If you've never trained or set foot in a dojang, that's exactly who a good beginners program is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or flexible to start β you get in shape by training, not before it, and instructors scale the intensity to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring β reputable schools build fundamentals (stances, blocks, kicks, and basic forms) for weeks, sparring eases in gradually and with gear on, and instructors keep it controlled and safe. Third, all ages and all levels really are welcome β ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most schools are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.
Your first taekwondo class at Hwang's Taekwondo Center π₯
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads β not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude β many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10β15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast β most people feel far more at home by their third class.
