From the reviews
Went and watched my granddaughter recieve a belt promotion. I was very pleased when they started with the Pledge of Allegiance. The instructor is veey patient with all the ages of students. He teaches respect, discipline, honor, and most importantly that the students see there personal improvement. Very impressed.
K-Taekwondo is the best taekwando establishment in utah. Our daughter has been practicing here for just over a year and has worked her way through the course and is only 2 belts shy of her black belt. She has learned many attributes that will follow her throughout her entire life.
I've attended both K-Taekwondo classes being taught and events where the kids test to move up to the next belt (for my grandchildren). K-Taekwondo makes sure they're having a good time as they're learning, exercising and getting a sense of accomplishment as they do the different activities (breaking boards, that sort…
Master Dragon has had a profound impact on my son over the four years he trained in Taekwondo. What began as a physical activity quickly became a foundation for discipline, respect, perseverance, and self-confidence.
Your first taekwondo class at K-TAEKWONDO
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
