From the reviews
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Premier Martial Arts for the incredible impact you’ve had on my daughter’s growth. Through your teaching, she’s not only learning martial arts but also gaining valuable life lessons—respect, discipline, confidence, and strong morals.
My daughter Sofia has been with PMA Mission since October 2022. She has loved it since she took her first private lesson with Mrs Tabitha. We love how all the instructors: Mrs Tabitha, Ms Sally, Mr Manny have always been so patient and they see her potential every time.
Love it because my youngest son wanted to join and he loves it. He puts his effort to learn all the self defense even though he's petite but he doesn't stop trying to learn and is eager to go to his Ninja class to learn more self defense. ❤️
PMA is an excellent place for kids to learn the art of martial arts. My son loves his class. He has learned so much in the past 4 months. The staff is excellent with kids. It is a safe environment for everyone. I highly recommend it!!
Your first taekwondo class at Premier Martial Arts Mission
Nervous about walking into a taekwondo school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic stances, blocks, and kicks with a partner or on pads — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: loose athletic wear you can move in (or a dobok if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the floor. What to bring: water and a positive attitude — many schools lend a loaner dobok for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll get your own dobok and belt, and sparring gear (mouthguard, headgear, and guards) once you begin sparring. Sparring eases in gradually, once your fundamentals and forms are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
